RD Tim VanOrden has made the decision to cancel Sunday’s Woodford Whiteout (or should that be Woodford Warmup after this past week?) due to a combination of lousy conditions but more importantly (since we’re snowshoers and are not intimidated by lousy conditions) the fact that the warm weather has left the ground soft means our snowshoe cleats will tear up the trails and leave a mess for the upcoming National Championship races in two weeks. Let’s keep our fingers crossed that Woodford can work its wintery magic between now and then!
