***********UPDATE: we have confirmation that Sunday’s race at Gore is happening, the course will likely be on man-made snow since nature hasn’t been terribly cooperative at the Ski Bowl yet…*****************
Actually, Laura Clark has been working on the organizing the 23-24 snowshoe season events for months now… the web minion has just been slow in getting updates posted (life continues to be a wee bit busy.)
If the weather cooperates and there is sufficient snow, our now-traditonal season opener at Gore Nordic is scheduled for Sunday 12/17/23 at 2 PM, with day-of registration starting at 1 PM. Distance is typically 5k-ish, with mutliple loops of a rolling course right outside the Nordic Center.
Online prereg is now open at skireg.com ; prereg closes at 5 PM on Saturday 12/16
